My Testimony

            I began by first saying thank you to Jesus for everything He has done for us, and for me this past year.  Jesus has taught and is teaching me to give everything—even every thought to Him.  And in this past year, I have to realize that I cannot ask God to help me if I am really only asking Him to do 90% (and I thank Him for it in Jesus’ name) and then figure out on my own to do the other 10%.  It has taken me four years to realize that if I do not give over all my requests, 100% to Him, He will not do 80, 90, 95, 99% of anything for me.  But God is gracious and full of mercy!  Until I came to know this, He never left me alone to battle or accomplish whatever it was that I hadn’t given a 100% to Him.

            Until I said, “Father, I can never do this thing right.  You take it and do it for me in Jesus’ name.”  Then the realization of God’s lesson helped me to draw closer to Him.
