My Testimony

Kenneth W. Nelson

I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ.  I was born in San Diego, California in 1958 and I am the oldest of five children.

As a young child, I can remember doing things I was told not to do.  I started stealing which led me into the streets at an early age.  I took what I wanted, not caring about anyone’s feelings or who I might hurt.  I started going to juvenile facilities which turned into youth camps and the California Youth Authority, and then to prison.  I’ve tried pretty much every drug at one point in my life as well as alcohol.

I was molested by two female cousins when I was around five or six years old.  I thank God that I didn’t become an abuser as I was abused.  You name it, I did it.

I truly accepted God into my life when I was given a 27 years-to-life under the California Three Strikes Law back in 2001; and God has kept me safe all these years.  I encourage you to seek God and allow Him to transform your life as He has done with mine.

God bless and take care,

Brother Kenneth W. Nelson
