Life Above Reproach

I have been a part of Life Above Reproach for four years.  It has been a blessing being alongside my brothers to watch and listen as their spirit grows stronger each day in the Lord.  That’s God working in men’s lives that is a testimony for the Lord.  It gives me purpose to be accountable to these men and to my Lord; and, it encourages me to be stronger.  Being a part of Christ’s family and being able to witness God’s work in their lives has reassured me that everything is possible with the Lord in my life.

Reading the Word is about hope; I can see the future.  I am able to deal with the present, and learn from my past.  I have been restored back to my family.  My brothers and sisters, my children, and my grandchildren have hope.  They have forgiven me as the Lord has also forgiven me and as I have learned to forgive others.

When I committed murder fifteen years ago, I thought it was the darkest part of my life.  My Lord had a different purpose for me.  His light guided me out of the depression, loneliness, and despair.  The Lord picked me up and set me on the road to recovery.  I have joyfully received the good news.  I have confessed my sins and trusted Christ to save me; and now, I have nothing to fear ever more.

A faithful believer
