Christian Discipleship Through “Life Above Reproach”

“Life Above Reproach” is an amazing program that has helped me grow in the faith in many ways.  It is the perfect program for Christian discipleship.  By meeting together every week with my Christian brothers, I have grown closer to them.  We have become a stronger, closer family.  By being honest in the accountability phase, I have opened up in honesty with them.  We are able to hold each other accountable.  This is a very important aspect of my Christian walk.  As Christians, we all must have accountability partners.

Another way that “Life Above Reproach” has helped me grow is by the daily reading of scripture.  Sometimes I do not feel like reading, but knowing that I agreed to read and will be asked if I did the reading, I am compelled to read.  This keeps me honest and consistent in my weekly scripture reading.  The reading of scripture is powerful, and in itself, will change lives.  It certainly has changed mine.

In the “Life Above Reproach” discipleship program, we all close out in prayer.  Praying together for one another and lifting our petitions up to God allows God’s Spirit to move on our behalf.  It also unifies the body of Christ.  Every time we meet together to discuss the weekly reading of the Bible, I learn more about God and His eternal Word.  It allows those who know more about the Bible to share their insight and knowledge with the younger Christians so that they can grow in their understanding of the Bible.

I am becoming more familiar with the scriptures through the required reading in “Life Above Reproach.”  I am able to find verses in the Bible easier.  This allows me to minister and help others learn the Word of God.  This is a simple and very effective program that is all about God’s Word, fellowship, and accountability.  I love this program and highly recommend it for all Christians.
