Testimony

Most of my life was spent searching.  Searching for love and acceptance; searching for the truth.  I went searching everywhere to find fulfillment for that void inside of me.

When I turned to harmful substances in my teenage years, I was led down a dark path that ended in disaster.  Surrounded by the pain I’d caused myself and my family, I found myself inside of a prison cell in my early twenties.  Inside of those walls, I started to see glimpses of the truth I had been searching for all along.

Through the life and testimony of a stranger, I saw Jesus Christ.  I saw love and acceptance.  I saw the truth that God loves me and wants the best for me; that He forgives me and I can forgive myself.  I found out that through Jesus Christ I am saved.  So today, I have found what I was looking for all along and I am whole.  I am complete in His love.
