IN A DARK PLACE

By Frank Briseno

My life before my conversion was full of pain because of my carelessness.  I suffered more then I should have.  I had pretty much all I wanted as a child and growing up as a teen.  My mother was a believer of Christ and she told me about Him.

I came to prison in 2012 and it was the most darkest time in my life.  The Lord shone in my life.  He showed me mercy and called out to me in a dark cell.  He showed me the foundation of the word.

Throughout my life I respected Christ to the best of my ability.  I thank Jesus Christ for loving me and being there for me.  He has taken care of me every step of the way.  All the changes I have made in my life, He has done because I was not capable to change by my myself.

Throughout my Christian life I have failed many times.  The Lord has held me up and I have had victories in many ways in my life and in others.  I know he has filled me with love and guidance to make the best choices I possibly can.  I look to Him for everything every day and always will.  I have become part of the local body of believers, and I give myself to the church all the time.

I thank Jesus for the opportunity to grow in the knowledge of my Savior and I cherish that.

Thank you, in Christ Jesus!
