Life Above Reproach

Hello, my name is Darrell.  Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to share my experience with you before and after I became involved in this bible study.  I most definitely have a new outlook on life.

Prior to my incarceration, I lived a dangerous life taking risk every time I awoke from the previous night.  I was one of your greatest sinners…this unruly behavior landed me in prison.  Once I landed in prison, I immediately picked up where I left off, doing the same things I was doing on the outside.  Hanging out with the wrong crowds…something I grew accustomed to.

One day, I was invited to attend this “bible study.”  It was the beginning of a new chapter in my life.  Suddenly, something changed!

I started to attend every week, and gradually my life started to mean something to me.  I was able to quote bible passages, and pray for other people, besides myself.  Learning more about the Bible and its meaning.  I’m in the process of helping other people seek God.  It’s amazing how my life has changed.  In Matthews 6:33 it says:  “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”  “I, now, don’t worry!”  Satan has been lying to me for many years.

Today, I’m slow to speak, quick to listen.  I no longer judge people, so therefore, I won’t be judged.

Now, I have a new look on life.  I can be the man of my household, and teach my family how to live upright.  It starts with GOD!
