LIFE ABOVE REPROACH

The Advanced section of the Living Above Reproach Program is the perfect complement to the Basic section which the first part of working by the three components of the group process.  I learned to develop a sense of awareness that allowed me to identify and fight back against all those “offensive” character defects and their negative influence in my Christian life.

Nevertheless, in the Advanced section, I was given the needed tool to accomplish what I was lacking to carry out the blessedness of living a reproach less life.  In this part, I was required to journal the good and bad events of my day. At the beginning this experience was difficult to assimilate it since now I had to be accountable on a daily basis.  This practice is helping me to strengthen my Christian profession because now more than ever before I had to rely on the grace of God alone to neutralize those flaws that were hindering me from being influential and helpful to others.

Becoming acquainted with the pattern of all those flaws by the grace of God, now I can avoid their arousal or immediately admit it when I do wrong because I don’t want to live in the misery of secrecy.  My life has to be open for everyone.  Thus as it is in the eyes of God, before whose eyes all things are naked.

Another benefit that I obtained from journaling was writing a daily positive attitude statement where I declare and affirm my identity in Christ which helps me to condition myself to endure the unknown battles of every day.

In closing, the Advanced section has been determinant in the formation of a clean conscience.  Because I rely alone on the finished work of Christ, I am perfect.  In my continual aligning to this reality, I can live a reproach less life.  Now more than ever before, God is creating in me a hatred toward evil.  This is why I pray that God fulfill in me the good works He prepared for me beforehand.
